Deaf Connect

Occupy Property has been engaged by Deaf Connect to lead the procurement of a new Brisbane office lease for the organisation.

Deaf Connect is the largest whole-of-life service provider and social impact organisation for deaf, deafblind and hard-of-hearing Australians. The organisation’s Queensland operations are currently located at 915 Ipswich Road, Moorooka & 467 Enoggera Road, Alderley.

Location: Primary Preference: South Brisbane, South Bank, Woolloongabba. Secondary Preference: Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Spring Hill, Milton

Close proximity to major public transport nodes (rail and/or busway)

Close proximity to retail, wellness and lifestyle amenity

Grade: PCA A-Grade & B-Grade

Total NLA: 1,200-1,500m2

High levels of natural light exposure/penetration

Preference for single-floor occupancy

Fitout: Fitted and unfitted options will be considered (fitted options will ideally contain open-plan contemporary fittings/fixtures)

Accessibility (DDA) compliance

Fitout: 24/7 building/tenancy access (incl. after-hours air-conditioning)

End of Trip: End-of-Trip facilities desirable

Car Parking: Car parking required (please advise maximum availability and rate)

On-site visitor parking desirable

Term: 5-10 year initial lease term

Lease Commencement Date: 1 February 2025 lease commencement date

Early access for fitout/occupation will be required (precise period subject to level of construction/refurbishment required)
